At Sproutycakes Bakery, we are truly a family affair! As kids growing up in an Italian-American family, my sister and I alway had our mitts in the kitchen, cooking and baking alongside our Mom and Grandmother from the time we were wee Sprouts ourselves. As we got older, I gravitated towards the savory end of the culinary world, working as a personal chef, food blogger and cooking show host of The Domestic Badass. My sis, Jenn, went the sweet route, concentrating on creating spectacular desserts. Our folks and my hubby gladly became our chief sounding board for new recipes and the official taste testers. Sproutycakes Bakery was born in honor of our daughter. Her nickname, Sprout (aka Sproutycakes), inspired not only the name but also the idea of combining forces and sharing our love and passion for creating amazing flavors with the world! We bake everything from scratch daily, use only the best, freshest ingredients available, never use any artificial flavors or preservatives and of course, everything we make is loaded with our secret ingredient: love.
